beyond it.
i'm not going to bitch about the brighton bar show. there's no point in doing that. i'm moving forward and all that rot...
the asbury lanes show is on friday march 20th. The Dead Strangers are first out of the gate, The
Council in the middle maintaining the good feeling, and the cathartic maelstrom that is Terminal Reynaldo will headline the evening. there should be quite the vibe, or there should be quite the effect pedal collection. the sound barrier also promises to be broken at some point. dj riffraff aka mr. kenneth florio will be spinning sounds between live freakouts by each of the groups. perhaps there will be astral projection or ecto cooler. i'm not sure. either way, it will be quite the gig. all bowling balls will be lit from the inside, and all will glow in the dark. all the pins will fall at their will. you will snack at the snack bar between magic drinks served up by magic painted ladies. after the show, we will all go to the water and recreate the burning of the Morro Castle using ourselves as the ship. we will then all crumble back into the earth and rebirth will occur.
see you at the gig. i will do my best to make sure that all of the afforementioned stuff happens. if nothing else, i'll watch you drink jagermeister shots and laugh.
