BIFF! BANG! POW!
Had a power outage today around 5:30pm. node0 - the PIII 1ghz computer that has been hosting this website for oh so many years - did not come up after the crash caused by the power outage.
I scrambled to move the website over to my other web server. It'll stay here for a while.
2am now... time for bed. Big show tomorrow night in Asbury Park.

Hub City Summertime.
Ah - the summer is upon us. With Rutgers graduation over - most of the students have gone home for the summer - thus much less traffic and more parking around town. The hot weather brings that wonder 'smell' of the raritan river and God knows what else thru the sweaty city streets.
And The Anderson Council continue recording and negotiating terms for an album release.
As it stands now - we're planning on an EP in the late summer/early fall - and with any luck - we'll have an album out in the winter.
In the meantime - we'll be doing a few shows.
June 27th we'll be returning to Asbury Lanes (if it's still standing) to unleash a barrage of rocknroll w/ The Beat Rats (garage rock from Philly) and the anabolics (shiny hot pants from Brooklyn).
July we will be taking a month off to charge our batteries. Bobby will be doing home improvements or be at the beach drinking beer. Joe will be slinging drinks at the Court Tavern *and* The Stone Pony and will be drinking furiously to make up for giving up beer for Lent. Dave and Pete will be traveling to exotic places seeking enlightenment and more Traynor amplifiers.
August 2nd brings us to The Brighton Bar in Long Branch for the 2008 Garage ROMP!
and to end the summer - August 21st we were asked by the wonderful Boro of Metuchen to play their outdoor summer concert series. It's free - all ages and you get two sets from us!
In the meantime we're trying to get back into the House of Vibes to do more recording but so are The Smithereens, The Grip Weeds, and Danny Adlerman. We all seem to have deadlines around the same time - which is causing Kurt Reil much stress.
For all of you Pepsi drinkers - you can cash in your Pepsi drink points on Amazon.com and get our mp3's for FREE!

Stay cool this summer!

we like to sweat(and play rock music)...
good times this weekend in kensington, md at our big fan David Ulf's house. it seems as though he has this annual crawfish boil and has bands play. this year, it was us and the soul crackers. it was HOT AS FUCKING BALLS out, even with the whole backyard under a tent, and fans a-fanning everywhere. you will see evidence of this heat when i get some pics up. this should be soon, with any luck.
we played two sets. they went something like this:
don’t you think?
blackboard of your mind
pinkerton's assorted colours
mind meld mud
the next one
strawberry smell
welcome to the working week
love bomb
never take your love away
gardening man
driven to tears
sitting on a cloud
hole in the sky
pretty people
do we have a deal?
hazel eyes
abstract reasoning
we're like the sun
never stop being ‘67
naked eye
i was losing fluids quicker than i could replace them. it was awesome...
please join us for our next LOCAL show on friday, june 27th @ asbury lanes w/ the anabolics and the beat rats. fun times.
